It’s noticable that western holidays are becoming increasingly popular day by day, while chinese traditional festivals are being somewhat neglected. Not long before about Doctors in Beijing university and Qinghua unversity announced that we should reject the invasion of western holidays ,because they regard western holidays as an challenge against our traditional festivals and culture.

There are obvious reasons why some western holidays are so popular in China. As everyone knows, People can get much information through the Internet. Meanwhile, people are also clearly aware of its disadvantages, but some children don’t realize they sometimes make friends with bad people online.

In my opinion, people can use the Internet to make friends, download useful materials and go shopping online. It’s really very helpful. However, there are also many disadvantages about the Internet. If you can’t use it correctly, it may be harmful to you. In junior middle school, I was once crazy about playing online games and I couldn’t control myself.
